Over 30 years ago, ChampionHotels was established in Weatherford, Oklahoma. From truly humble beginnings, our founder, Champak Patel, started with one hotel and built a flourishing family business that will have built over 100 hotels by 2010. The philosophy behind our enduring success is simple: family. We strive to create a family-like atmosphere and take care of each of our associates, who will, in return, take care of our valuable guests. With this basic approach as our foundation, we have built thriving, sustainable properties throughout the United States for over three decades. Led by unyielding management with expertise in essential areas of the industry, each of our hotels embodies the perfect blend of guest experience, value, service, and gracious hospitality. With a solid financial, development, and managerial structure in place, we pride ourselves in maximizing the value for each investor, partner, vendor, and most importantly, each guest. Because of our success in skillfully managing our people and our assets, we have established and maintained relationships with a diverse group of iconic brands—Hilton, Marriott, Choice, IHG, Carlson, Best Western, and LaQuinta. Champion Convention Center, our premier meeting and events venue opened in April 2020.
